Angola: Media Minister regrets death of Angolan journalist
Luanda - The Media minister, José Luís de Matos, regretted on Tuesday death of the Angolan journalist Fernando João, provincial director of Social Communication of the Provincial Government of Lunda Sul.

Victim of disease, Fernando João died at the dawn of Monday at the General Hospital of Saurimo, where he was hospitalized since Thursday last week.
In a note of condolence, the minister said that with his premature death, the family of the Social Communication lost the competent cadre and who has always shown total availability, with a high sense of responsibility and spirit of mission.
Fernando João trilhou um percurso profissional exemplar, sublinha o ministro, antes de acrescentar que a comunicação social perdeu um poço de conhecimento e de acutilância jornalística, reconhecido por todos.
Lunda Sul province lost a high status cadre, an example for the future generations, an intrepid defender of peace and social harmony, adds minister José Luís de Matos.
Fernando João had an exemplary career, says the minister, adding that the media family has lost a well of knowledge and journalistic sharpness, recognized by everyone.
At this time of pain, I address on my behalf and staff of the Ministry of Social Communication, to the bereaved family and to the Government of Lunda Sul Province deepest condolences.
Aged 55, Fernando João, born Lunda Sul province in Saurimo city, was appointed to the post of provincial director of social communication in 1997. The deceased is survided by a widow and children.
