Malanje: Governor recognizes difficulties, pledges improvements in 2018
Malanje - Malanje families, like other parts of the country, faced numerous difficulties in 2017 due to the national economy that continues to resent the financial crisis, said the provincial governor of Malanje, Norberto dos Santos "Kwata Kanawa".

The governor made these statements when addressing a speech on the occasion of the traditional end of year greetings ceremony.
In view of these difficulties, he said, there is a need for "greater engagement and dynamism" of the government in the tasks that promote the well-being of the population, with a focus on health, education, energy and water, among others, in order to guarantee ling quality by 2018.
In this regard, he said that the contribution of the private sector is useful and the province remains open to entrepreneurs as privileged partners in actions aimed at social progress, particularly in the agro-industry, hospitality and tourism and agriculture sectors.
The governor recalled, however, the actions taken by the Angolan government, aimed at recovering the country's macroeconomic stability, by controlling public spending, increasing tax revenues, domestic production and promoting exports.
