Theological symposioum opens in Uíge
Uíge - The Theological Symposium marking the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of northern Huige province diocese and its emeritus bishop, Francisco de Mata Mourisca, opened Thursday here.

The opening of the event tackled matters referring to the activity carried out by the various pastoral agents over the 50 years.
The event is taking place in the presence of the apostolic nuncio, Petar Rajic, of the Uíge bishop, Emílio Sumbelelo, the emeritus bishop Francisco de Mata Mourisca and other bishops and archbishops with the Angola and S. Tome Episcopal Conference (CEAST.
Welcoming those present and visitors, the coordinator of the 50 years jubilee, priest Tomás Maimba, spoke of the work done by the members of the diocese over that period being celebrated.
