Children of former combatants attend training in South Korea

Luanda - At least 30 technicians and students of the former combatants and veterans of motherland left Friday for South Korea to attend courses in electricity, mechanics and computers.

This is part of the first step in the fulfillment of several aspects contained in the memorandum of understanding signed a year ago between the Former Combatants and Veterans of Angola and South  Korea.

Delivering his speech meant to bid farewell to scholarships, the incumbent minister Cândido Pereira Van-dúnem, said that this training programme is entirety supported by South Korean side.

The minister announced a second group that will attend training in the field of agriculture and agro-industry in the coming days.

In turn, the chargé d'affaires with South Korean Embassy in Angola, Seugum Park, assured that all conditions were created for welcoming the students in terms of housing, food and allowance.
