MINARS trains over 900 child caretakers
Lubango -At least 96 child caretakers were trained in 2012 in southern Huila province by the local department of Ministry of Welfare (Minars) as part of the National Plan of Cadres Training aimed for improving children care.

The local head of infants and adolescent department linked to Adelaide Cambinda sector said that the capacity building section is positive due to response to the demand on infant development.
The trainees are from 45 public and private institutions, where they highlighted colleges, churches and non-governmental organizations, in order to strengthen the capacity and quality of the services to be provided, fulfilling the 4th of the 11th commitments with the child.
The training comprised themes on didactics, drafting plans, plastic expression, social inclusion, health and childcare, methodology of games and music, among others.
Local Minars department controls in Huíla facilities that work with more than 4000 children from zero to five years old.
