Benguela: Minister announces regional childcare workers school

Benguela - A regional school for childcare workers will be built in central Benguela province, the Social Welfare minister, Gonçalves Muandumba, announced Thursday here.

Addressing the ceremony of closing of the 3rd childcare course, the minister who would not add dates, said Beguela province has infrastructure and human resources to host a regional school.

He said such a school will train more childcare workers with skill to transmit values to children aged between zero and five.

The minister explained that the school will also cater for other disadvantaged social groups like elderly people.

More than 60 childcare workers completed the 3rd childcare course that lasted five months, having obtained skills to look after children aged 0-5 years.
