Channel 2 returns to TPA management
Luanda - Angolan Public Television (TPA) Channel 2 will return to the exclusive management of this television station, starting this Monday, January 1, 2018, according to a statement from its Board of Directors, made available to Angop.

According to the note, this decision follows the termination of the contract established, with a private entity that until then was managing it.
The text states that as a result of the measures taken, the Channel will have a different visual identity and programming, in accordance with the objectives set for the safeguarding of the legally established public service.
To this end, the source notes, the Board of Directors of the Angolan Public Television has appointed, through its responsible structure, a Director General of the Channel, who has tried to ensure the minimum conditions necessary for establishing a program in keeping with the established assumptions.
Accordingly, TPA's Board of Directors has directed that a transition program be implemented in the first phase, which is designed to meet the defined objectives which, in the short term, aim to satisfy the interests of a differentiated public, in accordance with the defined editorial line.
