In a round carried out by Angop, the main arteries of the city were found calm, and a large number of the inhabitants were resting, after much celebration for having arrived in the new year.
The forces of public order and security, especially in places of greater population concentration, were present to guarantee public order and tranquility to citizens and their assets.
Silence also covered informal markets, canteens, shops and fuel pumps, most of which were shut down.
The heaps of solid waste produced by the inhabitants of this city during the New Year's Eve party are being removed.
