In his first sermon, after his priestly ordination on Saturday, the Catholic bishop of the Luena Diocese, priest António Cassove, described the family as "the nucleus and heart of society," so it must be well composed, from parents to their children.
The priest understands that the father should educate his children according to biblical principles, describe examples of life, while the wife should be obedient to her husband.
To him, obedience involves values such as respect, love, mutual help, among others, qualities that the woman must manifest.
Speaking to ANGOP, on the occasion of the New Year, the pastor appealed to all Christians to pray for the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, "because it was a right choice, one expected to bring prosperity, change and true democracy for the Angolan people.”
