The deputy director of  SIC Huila,  Abel Waiya, Victor Duarte, third operations officer and Adão Domingos António, head of the operations department, denied all charges that had been suspended since last Thursday.

The three officers were at the beginning of the investigation, instructors of the seizure process, on 9 December 2016, of the first tanker with 35.000 liters of diesel fuel and the second with 14,000, owned by the co-defendants Silas Lievin and Nelson Pinto Almeida e Silva, in the municipality of Chiba, and the agents established the company Galiangol as a faithful trustee of the cargo, when in fact such task rests solely with the Prosecuting Council.

According to ANGOP, they are accused by the co-defendant Herman Vieira, head of transport at Galiangol, of having received money valued at 2 million Kz to free the driver who was driving the truck when he had already been released by the Prosecuting Council.
