Mother asphyxiates son to death in Bié
Cuito - A four-month-old baby was suffocated to death by her own mother in Cunje, Cuito municipality, central Bié province, this week as her mother committed adultery, said the director of the Office of Communication and Press of the Provincial Command of the National Police, António Hossi.

Speaking to Angop, the senior official of the National Police pointed out that the incident happened in the neighborhood of Chapuleiro, when the alleged perpetrator of the crime suffocated her son to death, because he did not belonged to the husband she lived with.
The defendant, fearing her husband, and not to compromise her home, for the adultery she decided to kill the child by lying in a nearby water source aiming to clear all the blames.
António Hossi stressed that during the last seven days, the National Police of Provincial Command reported only 44 crimes of a different nature, compared to 42 in the previous period.
