Namibe: Catholic Bishops debate issues concerning church and faithfull members

Moçamedes - Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tomé and Principe-CEAST, gathered togheter in this city, southern Namibe province, in the first annual plenary assembly, to discuss the life of the Catholic Church and its faithful.

The opening of the conferencewas presided over by the Archbishop of Luanda, Dom Filomeno de Nascimento Vieira Dias.

On the occasion the Cleric said that the gathering is an opportunity in which bishops of the various dioceses of the country to think about the life of their communities and churches, particularly in this moment in which the 50th anniversary of this religious denomination is being celebrated.
