Catholic believers flock to Marian pilgrimage
Ndalatando - The Ndalatando City, capital of the northern Cuanza Norte Province, last Saturday recorded the entrance of scores of Catholic believers from various parts of the country, with the intention of participating in the 16th edition of the traditional annual pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Mary Help of Christians.

Promoted by the Salesian Priests of Don Bosco, the pilgrimage is to reach its highest point during the long walk and candles procession moments, in a route of seven kilometres through the city of Ndalatando and ending up in the sanctuary.
Speaking to ANGOP, the spokesman of the event, Adriano Pedro, said the event is happening with a positive participation of the faithful.
While, more believers are still expected to turn up for the event, about seven thousand faithful are already in the venue participating in the initial activities.
The pilgrimage is happening under the motto “Mother, receive all your children – Trust in Mary and you’ll see the miracles”.
The event is to close on Sunday with a solemn mass to be officiated by the bishop of the Ndalatando Diocese, Almeida Kanda.

Ndalatando - Over 7,000 Catholic faithful from various parts of the country and abroad are expected in Ndalatando, northern Cuanza Nore province, from 25 to 27 May this year to attend the XVI Annual Pilgrimage to Maria Auxiliador Shrine, promoted by the community of Salesian Fathers of Don Bosco.
