ANGOP journalist passes away
Luanda - The journalist-translator of the Angola Press agency (ANGOP), Walter André de Oliveira José, passed away this Thursday dawn, in Luanda, victim of an illness.

Born in Luanda on 26 August 1977, Walter José joined ANGOP on 01 April 2008. He was sub-editor of the English Desk of the International Newsroom.
A few months ago he had a stroke that caused him to stay a couple of months under medical treatment, after which he was discharged from hospital and allowed to resume work.
He is survived by wife and 3 children.
