Students in Bengo yearn for higher education institutions
Caxito - Young people in the northern Bengo Province have been appealing to the local authorities to build a higher education institution with technical courses, with a view to taking in students from the High Polytechnic Institute, to avoid students leaving the region to continue higher education studies.

This recommendation is part of the conclusions of the “Consultation Forum with the Youth”, which happened in Bengo Province’s capital (Caxito).
At the forum, the youth also recommended the creation of libraries in all the municipalities, improvement of the benefits for young people.
The event also appealed to young people to avoid bad practices like excessive alcoholic drinks consumption, drugs use and delinquency.
The Consultation Forum served to analyse the degree of implementation of the 2014-2017 National Development Plan in regard to Bengo Province.
