The 15 SADC member countries will develop the regional strategy and action plan to combat gender-based violence (2019/2030), analyze the representativeness of women in management positions in the public and private sector, and prevent and combat gender-based violence. human trafficking in the SADC region.
The meeting will also discuss progress towards gender parity in the SADC Secretariat, women's peace and security, and gender and development monitoring of SADC-2018 and the commission Resolution 60/2 on the Status of Women (CSW), Girls and HIV / AIDS, promoted by the SADC, Framework and Action Plan to Combat HIV-AIDS.
