Kundi Paihama made the appeal at the opening ceremony of a series of lectures on youth and public safety in Cunene, sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior.
He urged the residents to denounce the suspicious movements of those involved in criminal acts, with a view to thwarting their plans.
Kundi Paihama spoke of the need to instill in the conscience of the population, especially the young people, that the success in the social life does not depend on the criminal actions.
“Permanent cooperation among residents, by denouncing these practices, strengthens the actions that contribute to decrease of the offences in the local communities”, underlined the governor.
