Four foreign citizens in prison for power cables robbery

Luanda - The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) has detained four foreign citizens, all of them undocumented, who were involved in the robbery of electric cables, ANGOP learnt on Sunday.

They are the citizens Mamadou Keita and Cheick Hamallah, From Mali, and Noum Diakite and Ousmane Sankara, from Ivory Coast.

In the operation, 300 meters of high voltage electrical cables, 150 meters of medium voltage, a metal crushing machine and three Telecom cabins were seized.

SIC also announces the arrest, for the same reason, in the northern Malanje Province, of the Angolan citizens Domingos Fernando Graça and Domingos António Moisés, both from and residents in Malanje.

In the same province two sisters are also undergoing pre-trial detention for the theft of electric cables, namely Aida António Garcia and Maria
António Garcia.
