Luanda roads repair project enters third phase

Luanda - The third phase of the Luanda roads rehabilitation project kicked off last Tuesday, at an official ceremony held in one of the streets of Luanda City.

In this stage, the authorities are focused on rehabilitating the roads 28 de Agosto, Kimbangu – Calemba II in Kilamba Kiaxi District, the avenues Major Canhangulo, Comandante   Kwenha  and Quinta Avenida.

The twelve-month undertaking includes the fixing of the public lighting system and the planting of trees.

The works are being carried out by the Portuguese firm Mota Engil.

The launching ceremony of such undertakings was chaired by the governor of the Luanda Province, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, who appealed for quality public works.
