The government official made this statement at a meeting of staff of the National Radio of Angola (RNA) group, in which issues related to the current situation of that public company of social communication were addressed.
João Melo assured that the salary improvement of the workers who have the National Radio of Angola as their only job is one of the main concerns of the Ministry of Social Communication.
The official announced, by the way, that the Ministry he leads is working with other ministerial departments in order to gradually solve the administrative, technical and social problems, as well as the investment needs that all the companies of the sector face.
The Minister of Social Communication detailed some of the "very serious" management problems he encountered on Angola's National Radio a year ago, such as a de-structured organic framework and an outdated professional qualifier, which allowed "uncontrolled and arbitrary" admissions as well as several wage inequalities, harming the most dedicated and committed workers.
