Micro credit grant to young people to continue - Labour minister

Saurimo - In the ambit of the policies of the Angolan Executive, turned to the boosting of entrepreneurial initiatives and self-employment initiatives, the granting of micro credit to young people, thorough a partnership between the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security plus the Sol Bank, will continue to happen with regularity and now with decreased bureaucracy.

The information was given last Thursday in Saurimo City, eastern Lunda Sul Province, by the miister of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security, Jesus Maiato, during the ceremony that marked the handover of new micro credits in this region, which benefited 100 youths from the municipalities of Saurimo and Cacolo.

The programme is being dubbed “Amigos do Sol” (Friends of Sol).

On the occasion, the minister deemed it indispensable to and fundamental that young people acquire technical knowledge, mainly in the area of business management, advising them to join the courses provided by his governmental department through the various municipal vocational training centres.
