The study, which was conducted by the NGO Action for Rural and Environmental Development (ADRA), analysed the extent to which the OGE reflects the principal necessities or priorities, mainly those relating to women, in matters relating to access to public services in the abovementioned municipalities , reads a note sent to ANGOP last Wednesday by ADRA.

The study inquired 113 women and spoke to 38 men in the focal points, with the aim of finding out the impact of the OGE on key sectors, such as education, health, social protection, access to micro-credit, food security and specific programmes turned to the support of women.

The roundtables will also serve to stimulate debates and reflections about the referred study in the respective municipal administrations.

The note states that the event is to be attended by members of farming associations and co-operatives, chieftains, members of other associations, as well as representatives of political organisations, churches and youth organisations.

This ADRA move is part of a project dubbed Okulisanga, financed by the European Union.
