Luanda launches gardens, green spaces facelift
Luanda - The provincial governor of Luanda Adriano Mendes de Carvalho launched Friday a sub-programme aimed at upgrading the gardens and green spaces, under “Luanda Verde 2022” programme.

The objective is to promote the afforestation of urban sites and improve equipment for collective use.
The project is going under the motto "Give colour to your life, give colour to your community", and foresees to cover the entire province.
The governor also announced the launch of the public lighting project throughout the province, starting from the urban areas of the Municipalities of Luanda and Belas.
Meanwhile, the governor announced the launch of a massive campaign that will involve students, churches, NGOs and other civil society organisations with focus on the tree planting and green space rehabilitation.
