Administration to evacuate residents of Dry Island in Zango 4

Luanda - At least 126 registered families living on the dry island in the urban district of Zango 4, Viana municipality, in Luanda, are going to be displaced in the next few days, said Viana Administrator, André Soma.

The administrator told journalists after holding a regular meeting of the municipality that residents living in the dry island will soon benefit from decent homes, not advancing the site due to intruders.

He also said that anyone who tries to infiltrate this process will be arrested and presented to the media.

As for the people who live in the plate houses of Zango 1 and 3, André Soma said it was intended to give them a space to build their houses.

He recalled that 32 houses were recently destroyed in Zango 3 due to being built on the site that will be built schools and public hospitals in the future.

According to the administrator, the meeting that he directed also aimed at analyzing the works of the asphalt carpet that is being placed on the Brazilian street, the fence of the Zango ditch and the construction of some classrooms at the municipality level.
