Ondjiva city gets new electrical power turbine

Ondjiva - The city of Ondjiva, capital of the province of Cunene, will benefit this year from a new electrical power turbine, with a of 28 megawatts production capacity.

The information was released on Tuesday by the head of the Electrical Production Company in Cunene (Prodel) Adriano Cajumbo, after a verification visit to the infrastructure made by the local governor, Virgilio da Ressurreição Tyova.

At the time, the person in charge assured the arrival of the equipment during this year, whose assembly process is fast predicting that until the end of the year, the cycle of restrictions can be reversed.

When we have the 28 megawatts installed, it will be a satisfaction for consumers, as the materialization of this project will guarantee electricity deficit that is felt in Ondjiva, as well as extend the distribution network to various points.
