According to a note from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which arrived in Angop on Tuesday, the meeting will run until Wednesday (10).
The summit aims to bring nations together by bringing together government leaders and policy influencers to share knowledge and ideas as well as working together to achieve the goals of young people aligned with the African Youth Charter.
Another purpose of the meeting is to create 10 million jobs by 2020 in a sustainable work environment in emerging industries, as well as to develop sustainable initiatives and policies that reduce gender inequality in education, employment, technology and leadership.
Creating five thousand digital ambassadors in each country to help digitally connect and train 100 million Africans by allowing skills to be transferred to their communities are other motives of the meeting.
