The meeting was sponsored by the Ministry of Social Communication and aimed at finding the best relationship and collaboration ways between institutional communication and public sector companies, although with specific agendas complement each other in the exercise of their activity.
Addressing the opening session, the minister of State and Chief of Civil Affairs of the President, Frederico Cardoso, called for developing a communication management plan in social media for the ongoing dialogue between rulers and ruled.
According to the President’s aide, one should not overlook the potential of the environment to mobilise citizens to contribute to concrete actions for the well-being of Angolans and the sustainable and inclusive development of the country.
Similar to what did several administrations, the consensus on common causes must be a permanent exercise in this environment, where the transceivers keep surfing, he said.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic, Luís Fernando, and the Minister of Social Communication, João Melo.
Several ministers also joined the meeting, as well as business managers and administrators of public media companies.
