Huambo: Caála roads benefit from rehabilitation

Caála - At least two kilometers of roads, out of 15 planned inside the Caála city, central Huambo province, is undergoing rehabilitation since last Friday.

This exercise, aimed to improve the movement of people and goods, is part of the Municipal Intervention Programme ( PIIM), launched by the President of Republic, João Lourenço in June 2019.

The Award of Work ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Manuel José Nunes Júnior, flanked  by the governor of Huambo, Joana Lina Cândido.

The three-month contract  worth AKz 112.7 million includes paving, curbs and sidewalks.
