The country will be represented at the event with a delegation headed by the ambassador to the Republic of Kenya and Permanent Representative of Angola to the United Nations Offices in Nairobi, Sianga Abílio.

Among other topics, the agenda includes the 2020-2023 Action Plan, the annual work plan and the 2020 budget for the Human Settlements Program.

The agenda for the first day was marked by the discussion regarding the payment of the financial contribution, bearing in mind that some Member States are not honoring the commitment, compromising the fulfillment of the United Nations Program for Human Settlements, approved at the UN-Habitat General Assembly, held in Nairobi last May despite strong engagement from donor countries.
