The data were released on Tuesday at a press conference by the Minister of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security, Jesus Maiato, during which he informed that the beneficiaries will be endowed with essential tools to carry out small businesses capable of generating family income.
The program, whose execution value is estimated at 21 billion Kwanzas, was recently approved by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in decree 113/19 of the 16th of this month, and also includes 10,000 microcredits and the distribution of 42,000 professional kits.
In addition to direct beneficiaries, it is intended, with the distribution of professional kits, to promote associativism and indirectly benefit 250,000 citizens.
The Cabinet minister reported that young unemployed and those seeking their first job are PAPE's target group.
According to Jesus Maiato, established and emerging entrepreneurs will also be supported, thus contributing to the process of promoting financial, fiscal and social inclusion, as well as fostering cooperativism and youth associations.
He assured that young people, to be trained in the various training centers in the country, should benefit from traineeships in certain companies, which could use them according to the needs.
