Road accident claims two lives in Cuanza Sul
Sumbe - At least two people were killed and 36 others were injured as a result of a car accident that occurred on Tuesday night on the road connecting the commune of Quicombo to the town of Sumbe, in the province of Cuanza Sul.

The accident occurred around 10 pm when a bus from a private company, leaving Benguela for Luanda overturned.
The driver is on the run, while the 36 injured are receiving assistance at the Sept. 17 hospital, in Sumbe city.
The spokesman for the Civil Protection and Fire Brigade Services, Eduardo António who was speaking to Angop, said the two dead (mother and daughter) were found stucked on the bus.
The service nurse and supervisor of the last 24 hours in the hospital September 17, Moisés Afonso, said that all hospitalized patients are already out of danger.
However, he also said that five of the injured people had upper limbs amputated.
