Angola: Five killed,14 injured in Benguela road accident

Benguela - Five people died and 14 others were injured in road accident in Uche area outskirts of the capital of the coastal Benguela province on Monday, Angop has learnt

Confirming the incident, the traffic police inspector, Abraão Camela, mentioned six survivors as having been in serious condition and rushed to the General Hospital of Benguela.

Others were discharged from hospital after medical treatment.

A Toyota Hiace vehicle from Benguela’s Cubal municipality, carrying 19 passengers, overturned as result of back-tyre burst.

As result four died on spot, including the driver, while a passenger aged 60 years old died in Benguela General Hospital.
