Speaking to the press, during a meeting with residents of Zango I, Sérgio Luther Rescova said that the delivery of the residences depends on a joint work between the Luanda Province Government (GPL) and the committees of residents, in order to prevent the actions of squatters.
"It is necessary that the committees of residents denounce the individuals that infiltrated, so that the authorities can then take the necessary measures," he said.
During his meeting with the former residents of Luanda and Benfica, who lived for more than 10 years in the Zango I houses, the governor recognized the growth of families and lamented the attitude of some citizens who want to enjoy themselves by taking advantage of the situation.
At the meeting, those in attendance praised the provincial government's gesture, seeking to listen to citizens' needs, as well as being available to work with them.
On his turn, the administrator of the Municipality of Viana, André Soma, ensured that his staff will perform a rigorous survey work to obtain the actual number of families residing in the area.
To recall that in May, the municipal administration of Viana warned that in collaboration with the Attorney General's Office (PGR), it will carry out a strict fight against land invaders in this part of the province of Luanda.
