Eugenio Laborinho reacted in this way against the vandalism of the Lucola - ETA1 Water Treatment and Drainage Station in the area of Lucola, where supposed groups of criminals ripped the power cables that feed the project, causing it to stop.

"We can not accept that such acts happen in strategic places such as these, where there are elements of protection and security and even the forces of order, whose objective is to ensure and guarantee that nothing happens, as damages in its operation," he said.

Accompanied by the provincial secretary of energy and water, Rafael Paca, the governor of Cabinda, who visited the infrastructure, said that these acts can not be repeated and called for accountability measures for the teams that protect ETA1, with to ascertain the reasons for the vulnerability and the damage caused.

Wednesday dawn a group of suspected criminals vandalized the cables that feed the capture pumps of ETA1, causing the equipment to stop and consequently cut off water supply in a part of the city of Cabinda.
