This model, which does not refer to the characteristics of the document, but to the methodology for its issuance by the Provincial Directorate of Traffic (DPVT), will only be made in the presence of those interested in ending possible acts of corruption, as well as falsification of documents and the removal of the large number of entries in the road environment.
Speaking to journalists during the event, the DPVT official in this region, Superintendent Simões Coelho, said that, because of this, the body, in coordination with the driving schools, decided to start with the daily issuance of 70 documents, despite the institution has a capacity of 250.
In the old model, the documents were issued and the applicants did not appear to pick them up, thus creating various embarrassments.
