Namibe: Vulnerable families receive food support

Moçamedes - At least 10,163 vulnerable families received Monday foodstuffs in south-west province of Namibe, as part of contingency plan of multi-sector commission covid-19.

The information was released to ANGOP by the vice-governor for the Political, Economic and Social Area, Maiza Tavares, adding that the assistance helps hundreds of needy families for their survival.
 

The official mentioned the water distribution plan in the areas where these families are concentrated, so that they can strictly comply with preventive measures against covid-19, such as hand washing constantly.
 

Also 19,000 families have been registered in the provinces of Huambo, Bié, Huíla and Benguela.
