Over 1,000 vulnerable families registered in Cambundi-Catembo
Malanje - At least 1,080 families in vulnerable conditions in the municipality of Cambundi-Catembo, Malanje province, were registered during the last days under the Social Cash Transfer Program (PTSM), called “Kwenda”.

The registration was carried out by a team of Community and Health Development Agents (ADECOS).
In the municipality of Cambundi-Catembo, it will benefit families in the Tambo, Ngongo, Tala Mungongo, Cangue, Lulondo, Mueba-Tutu, Hopa, Cubango and Calunga, Maiaca villages.
With a three-year implementation period, it is executed using credit line from the World Bank (WB), in the amount of 320 million dollars, and 100 million dollars supported by the National Treasury.
The project aims to reinforce the social and economic assistance of the neediest families in the country and the first beneficiaries are going to receive quarterly 25,500 kwanzas, in the order of 8,500 kwanzas monthly.
