The governor of Huambo province, Lotti Nolika, witnessed the consignment, which symbolizes the official start of the works, budgeted at 45 million Kwanzas.

These are the roads that connect the districts of Compão Baixo to the suburban Fátima, Santa-Iria/Bom da Baixa, Campo do Monte Adriano/Zona do Centro Materno Infantil da Mineira (Santo António), as well as the alternative road between Bairro de São Pedro to the informal Iron market.

The project also includes the Camussamba/Sassonde I road, as a way to improve the circulation of people and goods in these locations.

On the occasion, Governor Lotti Nolika, in statements to the press, said that the rehabilitation of the access roads is one of the bets of the local government, with the aim of improving the living quality of the population, solving the problems of flowing products from the countryside to the city.

The governor said she was aware of the other difficulties faced by the population of the province and therefore assured that, despite the less good moment the country is experiencing, due to a macroeconomic and financial situation, as well as the Covid-19, the authorities will continue to prioritize the resolution of the wishes of the population.
