Buenos Aires – The Angolan Airline (TAAG) has signed in Buenos Aires (Argentine) a contract with the local company, AVIAREPS, for the latter to operate as its sales agent in that country and others of MERCOSUR: Chile, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.
The information was released by Luis de Almeida, TAAG's general representative to the Americas, having said that negotiations are underway for the signing of agreements with AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS.
According to him, the accords will enable the passengers to get the single ticket from the origin to destination (ex: Buenos Aires / Luanda / Buenos Aires).
The source said the Brazilian Airline, TAM, has also been approached on the same purpose but the negotiations are pending clarifications of a process of merger the latter is involved in with the Chilean air company LAN.
The TAAG agreements with its Argentinean counterpart is expected to facilitate trade and boost business relations between both countries.
