Benguela: Over thirty new buses strengthen transports sector

Lobito -A fleet of thirty-five new buses were delivered last Tuesday in Lobito Municipality, central Benguela Province, by the Transports minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, to strengthen the region's public transport sector.

The beneficiaries of this programme are the state-owned Lobito Port Company,  Porto Amboim Port Company and the Benguela Railway Company, as well as the private firms Amorim-Lda, Sterb-Benguela, TGL and Rosalina Express.

On the occasion, the Transports minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, said that despite the crisis situation, the government is still worried about solving the problems facing the people.

He informed that the sector has been introducing some measures that will help to quadruplicate the public transportation capacity of commuters and goods, be it by rail, road, air or maritime transport.
