Angola: Transport minister unveils Dundo airport runway and apron
Luanda - The runway and apron of Dundo’s Camaquenzo airport in the north- east Lunda Norte province is due to be unveiled this Thursday by the Transport minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás.

Speaking to Angop at Luanda’s “04 de Fevereiro” International Airport before leaving for Dundo, the official said that after the inauguration of the runway he will hand over buses to local authorities to improve the movement of people and goods in the province.
The Camaquenzo airport will now be receiving big size airplanes for the first time, thanks to the expansion of its runway from 1.800 to 2.500 meters long and from 20 to 45 meters wide and 15 meters of the roadside in compliance with regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The airport was built in a 558-km2 area with capacity to accommodate 300 passengers during rush hour.
