Bié: dangerous turn near Santo-Biangue village (Camacupa)

This was said on Sunday by Benguela province’s deputy governor for Technical and Infrastructural Affairs, José Fernando Tchatuvela, who is following up the case, stressing that the train conductor lacked caution, while getting close to a dangerous turn near Santo-Biangue village.

In this regard, the official called for more responsibility from the train conductors so as to prevent accidents and keep safe human’s lives and merchandise.

The train, whose destination was Luena city in Moxico province, was carrying 14 tanks of diesel and petrol, in which a 200.000 liters loss is estimated to have been spilled off, said a source from Sonangol in Bié.
