The appeal for prudence was expressed to ANGOP by the person responsible, after the replacement of the Cuito / Luena train, with the restoration of the 280-meter extension of the railway line in the locality of Santo Biangue, in the municipality of Camacupa, which is halted due to derailment last Saturday (October 8).

He said that the CFB's desire is to continue to safeguard the company's interest in improving services provided for the country's sake, which is characterized by the safe transport of people and goods from the coast to Central and Eastern Angola.

Meanwhile, Aristides Sebastião considered the Benguela Railways (CFB) as the country's most important and extensive rail line, for crossing borders and connecting Angola with Zambia.

However, he reassured people, especially the users of this line, to remain confident in the company (CFB), noting that all precautionary measures were taken, in the sense of not occurring incidents of this kind in the coming days.
