Angola: Tourist operators seeking cooperation with more agencies

Luanda - The Association of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators in Angola (AAVOTA) intends to work with more agencies to develop tourism in the country, said the president of the organisation, Catarina Oliveira.

Oliveira said this while reading a motion of support for the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism at the opening ceremony of the World Tourism Day, chaired by incumbent minister, Paulino Baptista.

According to her,  AAVOTA is undergoing  renewal and restructuring process coupled with a commitment to cooperate with the growth of the sector.

The official considered fundamental to think of tourism as a sector that can contribute to the social development of the country.

She stressed the multi-sector tourism that allows sustainable development, harmonising with the environment, media, transportation, space and service.
