According to a press release, which ANGOP had today (Tuesday) access, the event brings together more than 200 operators of the Telecom market in Africa, some of them the largest in the world.

The fact that SACS is the first fiber-optic submarine cable system to connect directly to Africa and South America across the South Atlantic makes it a completely new, faster and more efficient route for communications between African countries and South America.

This achievement, promoted by the Angolan telecommunications multinational, Angola Cables, is making Angola a mandatory reference on the African map of the sector.

This link, coupled with the partnership agreements it has established with other major players in the international telecommunications ecosystem, such as Silica Networks, is leveraging business development in the markets in Africa, Latin America, the Middle and Far East.

With this, it is possible to promote a true digital revolution and contribute to the creation of previously non-existent ways to foster data exchanges between companies and users of different regions, with greater quality and speed.
