Handball / World Cup: Angola play with champions in qualifiers
Kumamoto - The senior women's national handball team face title-holders France on Sunday in the 13th to 16th World Championship qualifiers, which is running in Kumamoto, Japan.

Angola was fourth in Group A, with six points, the result of two wins and three losses.
Angola lost in the first two rounds against Serbia (25-32) and Netherlands (28-35).
Angolan national team defeated Slovenia (33-24), but was thrashed by Norway (24-30) and Friday beat Cuba 40-30 in the last group stage game (A).
The French also were in fourth place in group B, with five points. They beat Australia and Germany 46-7 and 27-25, respectively, drew 19-19 to Brazil and lost to Korea (27-29) and Denmark (18-20).
Although not passing the stage, Angola have already secured the improvement of 19th place of last year, held in Germany in 2017.
