FAF summons national team for CHAN
Luanda - The Angola Football Federation (FAF) called up on Tuesday 24 players of the country’s domestic championship to represent the national team in the qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations for Home-Based footballers (CHAN) to take place from January to February in Cameroon.

ANGOP has learnt that the call up is mostly made up by under-23 players.
The players called up by FAF are the following:
Landu, Ndulu, Eddie Afonso, Wilson Gaspar, Manguxi, Caranga, Dany, Mário, Cirilo, Jó, Jaredi, Ito, Paty, Kinito, Pedro, Coxe, Sidney, Emilson, Yano, Almeida, Higino, Simão, Aisson and Chico.
The team led by Silvestre Pelé, will concentrate next Friday to perform two training sessions and leave for South Africa on Monday for preparation.
Angola face away Eswatini on January 28 for the first leg of the qualifying, the second leg takes place on August 3 in Luanda.
