Luanda - Desportivo da Huila squad last Friday in their home, Lubango City, beat FC Bravos do Maquis by 2-0, in the opening round of the top division National Football Championship (Girabola2019/20).

The goals were scored by Sargento (14 minutes) and Nandinho (56').

The round continues this Saturday with the following matches:

Sagrada Esperança - Interclube

Wiliet de Benguela - Petro de Luanda

Sporting de Cabinda - Recreativo do Libolo

Sunday’s opening round matches:

1º de Maio de Benguela - Académica do Lobito

Santa Rita do Uíge - Recreativo da Caála

Ferrovia do Huambo - Cuando Cubango FC.

The round will close on 27 August with the encounter between 1º de Agosto and Progresso do Sambizanga, in Luanda’s Coqueiros stadium.

1º de Agosto are the defending champions.
