With two processing lines, the factory functioning since 2012 daily packs 1650 boxes with 300 packages of 13 grams of day to day milk and 1100 boxes, with 100 sachets of 50 grams of full nestum, produced exclusively in Angola, since September 2015.
According to information released to Angop during a guided tour to the referred facilities, the factory will make arrangements to launch a new format of full Nestum of 450 grams, whose daily production ranges around one thousand and sixty boxes.
Besides the aforementioned products, Nido powdered milk will be packed in several sizes, from 20 grams to 2 grams, as well as Nestum Maria biscuit and honey.
With initial investment of 1,6 billion dollars, Angola Nestle will prepare itself to launch more two production lines, with capacity of packing 12.000 tons each, per year.
The first line production will start functioning in September and the second is set to start operating in November, according to general director of the factory, Faray Goza.
In the Framework of Angolan economy diversification, Nestle continues to work in order to face the quest and reduce raw material import, using local products such as plastic packaging.
