Angola attends Kimberley Process meeting
Luanda - Angola is attending the 16th Annual Plenary Meeting of Kimberley Process (KP), running from 18 - 22 November in New Delhi, India.

The country is represented by a delegation headed by the coordinator of National commission of the Kimberley Process, Paulo Mvika.
The delegation is integrated by KP Executive Secretary and chairperson of Ad-Hoc Committee on Revision and Reform, Estanislau Buio.
Adviser minister of the Angolan Embassy in India, Joaquim Ganga, is also attending the event on behalf of the ambassador.
India holds the chairmanship of the KP. The meeting gathers 89 representatives from member countries, as well as the European Union, government officials, industry and civil society.
The four-day meeting will discussed annual reports to be presented by the officials of committees and work groups, with stress to the Kimberley Process on Revision and Reform, led by Angola.
The meeting will analyse the monitoring working group report under the leadership of South Africa, statistical work groups (US), diamond experts work groups, diamond world council, work groups of rules and procedures (Russia) and the attendance and presidency committee (European Union).
Countries such as Russia, US, China, Austria and Botswana are bidding for hosting the permanent secretariat in their countries.
